Over the last several months, our office held a contest called “My Teacher Rocks.” Our patients nominated their teacher and wrote a description of why their teacher is great. Based on the number and quality of nominations, several teachers were honored. Dr. Montano, Dr. Cardall, and some of our team members went to their schools and surprised the teacher with a plaque and a Target gift card and the whole class enjoyed a pizza party. We had a lot of fun hearing about all the amazing teachers in Bakersfield and getting the privilege of meeting some of them in their classrooms. Teachers make such a big difference in our lives and hopefully we made a small one in theirs. See their reactions in this video:
